1. The short version
ResumeCraft AI is built to be private by default. The content you type into our tools — resumes, cover letters, job descriptions, application data — is processed entirely in your browser and is never transmitted to or stored on our servers. We have no account system and no resume database. The only storage we use is your browser’s own local storage, which stays on your device.
2. Information we do not collect
- We do not collect your name, email address or any contact details through the tools.
- We do not collect or store the text you paste into the tools.
- We do not use analytics scripts that fingerprint you or track you across other sites.
3. Local storage
To provide features like autosaved drafts, favorites, language preference, application tracking and checklist progress, our tools use your browser’s local storage (localStorage). This data lives on your device only, is never sent to us, and can be cleared by clearing your browser’s site data at any time. Clearing it will remove your saved drafts and tracker entries.
4. Cookies and advertising (Google AdSense)
We display advertising served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ cookies at www.aboutads.info. Google’s use of advertising cookies is described in Google’s advertising policies, and Google’s overall privacy practices are in the Google Privacy Policy.
Our cookie banner asks for your consent before non-essential cookies are set, and you can accept or decline it. Declining does not affect the tools themselves — all tools work without any cookies.
5. Consent and your choices
By using this site you agree to this policy. You can:
- Clear all local data at any time from your browser’s settings.
- Opt out of personalized ads as described above.
- Contact us with privacy questions at zjp133@outlook.com.
6. Children’s privacy
This site is a general-audience tool and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children, because our tools do not transmit information to us at all.
7. Third-party links
Our guides and tools may link to third-party websites (for example, Google’s opt-out pages or cited research). We are not responsible for their privacy practices.
8. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top. Material changes will be summarized here as well. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
