1 Fill in the details
2 Preview & export
Tip: recruiters and ATS parse plain text reliably. Download the .txt version as a backup when a job portal asks for a pasted resume.
How to use the Resume Builder
Start with your name, contact info and target role. The preview on the right updates as you type — no save button needed.
Write one bullet per line and lead each with an action verb plus a metric (e.g. “Increased signups by 23%…”). Tap “Add experience” for more roles.
Modern suits design and marketing roles; Clean is a safe classic; Compact fits one page for 3–8 years of experience.
Print/Save as PDF gives a crisp file for uploads; Download plain text covers portals that only accept pasted resumes.
Keep it one page (usually)
For most roles, one page is enough. Two pages are fine for 10+ years or academic/research CVs. Trim bullets that repeat the same idea.
Mirror the job ad
Use the same wording as the job description for your title, summary and skills. ATS ranking rewards keyword overlap.
Proofread the output
Read the preview like a recruiter would: 6 seconds, top to bottom. Fix typos, unify date formats and check your email once more.
